You normally find Mediterranean homes in warmer climate areas. These are more commonly known as “California” homes. You may ask why warmer climates? Basically due to the exterior materials, roof styles, and most importantly the landscaping.

Laneway homes are basically like a carriage home on the rear of your existing property, provided you have a “lane” hence Laneway. These are great semi-independent homes for large starter families and great for rental.
